Servo Issue?

$

I have a MSD MS01D along ran by the RC OMG 10.5T brushless motor along with the D Run 120a ESC and their servo. Now the issue I'm having is the car likes to turn on its own. I can try to get it to drive straight and it'll just go either left or right. And after a turn it doesn't like to re center its steering. What can it be guys! Thanks in advanced!

Buying chassis need help

OK guys so in a few days im buying a roller " tamiya trf415 " and i was wondering if it was a good buy and what to look out for,
Its comes with stealth mounts and some stylish wheels but im going to be drifting so that isn't that important

what i know about it is that its got a custom counter-steer setup using some 3 Racing D3 parts and hes said that the car is roughly 60 : 40
Also i already bought Velcro straps for the battery but he says he just uses 2 pieces 1 one the bottom of the battery and one on the chassis.
this is going to be my first cs chassis and tamiya chassis so i want to know what to look out for, pictures below,

( in the pictures there also a front mount, battery and a servo but those are not included )
BTW im paying him $120AUD

I am buying locally and have dealt with this guy before.

Thanks in advance. B) B) B)

so when I was younger I was really into racing my tc3 on a road circut. Over the holidays my little cousin got a car, so I pulled mine out, that's when I saw all this stuff for RC drifting. I went and bought myself some hpi hard tires me that's where I'm at.

Battery selection for Yokomo DIB v2

Hi guys, I'm new to a drifting area where I used to toured with XRAY T3 2 years ago. I am now having an unfinished built my Yokomo DIB v2 which hopefully will be completed my build by this weekend.

I need help on a battery selection for my DIB since I saw a lot of pics here using a shorty (4200-4400mah). How long will it lasted with these capacity? My set up will by OMG ESC with 10.5T motor.

When I was touring with my XRAY, the bigger capacity was better in everyway (excepted weight) I used to have some 6000mah and they last me with 25-30 on track.

but with my new DIB drifting chassis, the battery slot under the top deck is really a problem and it's narrowed me down with battery choices. So I need your comments on smaller capacity or a shorty will give a good playtime with my set up.

Thank you so much

Hey guys and girls,

Just wondering if anyone else has had any issues with Tetsujin super wheels and brake calipers? I just got my D4 all together and put my MST big brake kit on and the clips that hold the two piece wheels together are not clearing the calipers. =L

First -

i have 9mm offset wheels all around on my sprint 2 with 67 camaro body. the front is perfect, but the rear tucks quite a bit. i really want the flush look. i think i need somewhere close to 13mm offset wheels but ive only found 2, both are by scale dynamics. just wondering if theres any others.

Hey guys, I'm trying to make a replica of my car and I'm just lookin for some good tip and tricks mabey some products to help. I have a matrixline body and some wheels like mine on order. I still need a 326power wing and some other odds and ends. One question I have is do the regular 180sx light buckets fit the matrixline body well? Is this a good body to use or should I start over... Here are some pictures of my Rc and my actual car.

First RC drift Project

Im new to the Forum and kinda new to rc drifting. I cant really say i've never had an rc drift car but ive never had a Real Hobby Grade RC drift car. My first was many years ago when i was a little kid, i had an XMOD that i did the drift conversion too, i still have it but its not a real drift car.

I deployed about 3 months ago and thought while i was out here i might as well get a hobby to keep me busy on slow days. I bought the 3Racing Sakura D4 Rwd chassis. did the minor Boom Racing upgrades for steering. Omg Servo with a yeah racing Gyro. the ESC and motor i got off amazon is a skyrc Cheetah 60A ecs and 10.5 turn Sensored brushless motor(great combo for $75). To control everything i bought a FlySky FS-GT3B 3 channel radio and receiver(also on amazon for like $40, great buy except it doesnt come with instructions).

I have a Pandora RC S13 Silvia body that i did a pretty shitty job painting cause i didnt have the right paint. I made a Custom Wing out of scrap metal that resembles the BCL universal Atmosphere demolisher wing(not perfectly but still awesome)

Over all its a great platform and i see alot of good things in the future for this build as more parts become available.

I never had a 50/50 or CS drift car so jumping straight into RWD RC drifting is a learning experience but i know the Concept of real drifting well so i can transfer some of my knowledge over to this without much confusion. I am still learning and everyday i get alittle better.

tried to box up in a professional-ish manner. Small quantities means exact size boxes are a DIY proposition.

Prototype is now using normal DRB ackerman bar with VX knuckles and REW extensions. I'll switch to twin servo soon.

VX front knuckles are awesome.

DP wipers are a good option. REVERSE motor direction required for normal spur/pinion.

Note front centre bulkhead servo position is available. Next setup on this chassis will be an inverted servo between the bulkhead.

Ninja spec. GRK Slide Rack. Now being setup for duty with new OD front knuckles. Review to come.

Customer Build. WUN items will be used up front. Custom anodising will be employed.

deciding final spec at the moment. loving the new black twill though.

HPI sprint 2 rwd?

I just recently got a sprint 2 and I can't get used to the awd drifting. I drift a 1:1 car so I keep trying to incorporate those techniques into this but it's very different. I want to go rwd with this chassis but I've had people try to talk me out of it because of steering angle or oversteering. So has anyone here done the rwd conversion. If so what mods do you recommend, front engine? Anything for extra angle? And also what pulley do you run, right now I have a 18t rear pully with a locked diff. Thanks for the help guys!

Hi guys,

A few questions for my first rc drift build: -

1. The gearing is stock for now so what pinion should I install? I will be running a SV3 4600kv combo initially.
2. Do i need any specific size of servo (low profile) or can I throw in any 1:10 scale car servo?
3. What should my first upgrades be?

Thanks for your assistance!

Cheers

Bad Bunny Rocket Bunny FD RX-7

I recently finished up my latest body project.  It is a Tamiya RX-7 with the Demi Works Rocket Bunny body kit that I am calling the Bad Bunny.  Along the way RC P!PES asked if I wanted to collaborate and help him show off a new product line, the "BigAss CF Muffler".  I was honored that he chose to work with me on this project.  The Demi Works kit was pretty tricky to work with, and I spent a lot of time trimming it to fit just right.  I am really happy with the result, and it was worth the effort.  The P!PES BigAss CF Muffler fits the look of this car perfectly.  I also used a V2 light kit from P!PES, that I am really happy with.  The lighting effects are really cool, and the compact size and light weight are nice, too.  Special thanks to Randy Beard of Rare Arts USA for hooking me up with the windshield banner, and for stocking lots of great detail products that I used on this build.
