New here from WA

Hey everyone,

I'm new here. I found this site while looking around at all the new options available for rc cars. I recently back ordered Tamiya's new TT02  Subaru Rally Car from Tower Hobbies.



I had a TB01 Subaru a while back (wish I still had it) and felt the desire to build one again. This will be a long term build. I bought the kit to build with my son. He's a bit to young for it now, but I plan to use the time between now and then to collect a bunch of cool things for it. I'll probably keep the motor/esc combo stock since he won't need anything more powerful for a while (plus it already comes with the kit!) I'll probably pick up some aluminum goodies from Yeah Racing and then focus on paint and body work. I'm looking at things like adding the rally pod lights to the front, one of those back fire led exhaust tips, and what ever else I come up with. I joined the site because there are a lot of really great ideas around here and some how-tos. Look forward to learning more!
