FXX/FSX Steering Rail Vs. Great Angle?

Hey guys,
My FXX-D S has served me well, but the amount of slop in the steering has been a constant annoyance for me. I've tried shimming it in various places but the slop just seems to come from everywhere. I've been looking around at upgrading the steering and came across the steering rail kit similar to the XXX-D's. I was wondering if anyone else had tried it out and could offer any advice on it?
