Replacement for the DX - I present you the Mi1

Hello everyone.
After a bad episode yesterday morning, I crashed my DX too hard and it's boxed now.

I bought this from a friend that has this weird hobby of building display chassis (don't know why) instead of running them, but anyway she agreed to sell me this gem for just 90€.
So here it is, the Shumacher Mi1:

I just had to take a few shots to appreciate it, it's so unusual to see a brand new built chassis with shelf dust and no scratches.
Those wheels are not Shumacher, I believe they're from either Serpent or X-Ray, it's a shame they're useless for drifting as they're 24mm wide... typical for touring car tires only

And here is the main reason why I bought this particular chassis, no C-hub, so you know what that means... super angle mod soon

For some unknown reason when I took off the front CVD's I found one of the king pins was broken, no problem though, I don't need front traction anyway

Started to disassemble the CVD's as I don't need more than the shafts

And after a few hours feddling I managed to pull out the diffs, the front belt and opened up the front diff (that will eventually go into the rear) so I can lock it to act as a spool

Unfortunatly this took hours due to this particular chassis having torx screws instead of the usual hex or phillips.
I don't have a torx set so I had to use the key that came with the car, by the time I opened the diff it was already night and I was really tired.
So that's all for now, today I'll continue and take more pictures of the chassis and maybe the body too (I got it stored still waiting for paint).

See you at my next post. ;)
